Mumbwa Town Council and Luanshya Municipal Council have entered in to a Commercial Ventures Exchange Program.
The exchange program which is aimed at sharing information and best practices on the operations of Commercial Ventures and other related business started with the visit of a Luanshya Commercial Ventures management team members to Mumbwa today.
The Luanshya team was led by Mr. Charles Mutale, Commercial Manager, and Ms Alice Kambimbi, Assistant Commercial Manager from Luanshya Municipal Council taken on tour by Mr. Kaluba Lubunga assistant commercial manager Mumbwa town council.
Acting Mumbwa Council.Secretray Dr.Kathrine Kalumba said engaging in educational tours and exchange of professional knowledge was a progressive move aimed at enhancing service delivery for both Mumbwa and Luanshya local authorities.
As part of the Commercial Ventures Exchange Program ,the Luanshya delegation exchange toured the Mumbwa Council Lodges , which recently underwent renovations and is now open to the public.
The Council Lodge services include accommodation at competitive, providing a comfortable and convenient stay for visitors.The other services includes catering and hire of conference room offering a wide variety of meals.
The Council Lodge,which recently had a make-over is now better placed to boost Council revenue generation, contributing to improved services delivery and development initiatives within the District.
Mumbwa Town Council remains committed to strengthening partnerships and improving service delivery through innovation and collaboration with sister councils.
