Inline with the Foods and Drugs Act the Public Health Officers from Mumbwa Town Council, District Health Office, Zambia Wildlife Authority and Zambia State Police Mumbwa yesterday conducted a comprehensive sensitization on Anthrax and inspection of various butcheries in the local community. This proactive measure aimed to educate both the butchery owners and the general public about the risks associated with Anthrax and the importance of maintaining high standards of hygiene.
The district has combined forces inspecting various wards in ensuring the public’s safety as first priority.
